Food Safe Glazes

All Meraki Studio Mugs start out as a slab of clay.   They are formed by hand and fired twice in the kiln.   They are made using a Stoneware Speckled Clay which is super lovely to hold in it's raw state.   Because they are built by hand (no wheel) they are never perfectly round.  We much prefer the organic look to the mug.  

While they are dishwasher safe we highly recommend washing by hand for longevity since dishwashers can be a bit rough on ceramics at times.
