Meraki Studio is a small creative space in Ruatangata, Whangarei.

I've always been obsessed with the creative process of turning clay into something functional.  I remember falling in love with it at Primary School.   Fast forward to 2001 I decided to take up pottery at a local night school and fell in love all over again.   Pottered until 2007 when I fell pregnant and lost my mojo.   Picked up some clay again in 2019 and haven't stopped since.

I love the process of slab or coil building, these are my go to methods for creating.    We recently purchased a Leach Kick Wheel, but it will be quite some time before this is mastered.

No two items will be 100% the same due to the nature of making by hand.
