In this workshop you can have the choice of making a medium plus small fairy or a large fairy.

There is quite a bit to making one of these so we will work as a group for each part so no one is left behind.  Once the main body is made you will be able to decorate and add some colour to your own personal taste.   You will have access to stamps, underglaze transfers, cut outs and more for decorating.

There is also an added option to come back and glaze your fairy/faries yourself in a separate class.   This will allow you to add colour etc

Clay used is my favourite speckled clay or plain.

Pricing includes glazing all white or a brown wash if you haven't selected the optional glaze workshop.  

Price includes all materials and tools needed to make your Angel/Fairy.  Cost also includes drying, bisque firing, sanding and glazing after the bisque fire, Glaze fire, final sand if need, packaging (this all takes several hours per workshop group).

Your piece will be ready in 4 - 6 weeks.   I can courier for an extra $10 ($15 rural).

This is a small class with a maximum of 6 people.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting grubby, I do have aprons avilable but feel free to bring your own.   It is advisable to have reasonably short nails when working with clay.  If you do have nails we can work around it but you might find that  you need to clean up the clay a bit more (even small nails will leave marks as we make the items).

Refreshment will be provided but feel free to BYO if you would like a wee dabble during the class.

Please also be aware that due to the nature of pottery and firing x 2 means that sometimes things don't work out as they should.  I dry mugs super slowly but sometimes cracks etc still form.   It happens, it still happens to me and any potter you talk too will say the same.   I will do my utmost best and handle all your mugs with care but please be aware due to the nature of the craft there may be a breakage.   I really hope not, but sometimes it just happens.
